Study in Spain
Language courses, vocational training, university and postgraduate programmes in the country where we are based — coordinated from the choice of programme to arrival.
Why Spain
Our home market, and the one we know best
We coordinate from Galicia, and Spain is the destination where we can accompany a student most closely: the programme selection, the enrolment, the documentation, the study visa file and the practical questions that arrive in the first month.
The range is wide. A student may come for a three-month language course, a two-year vocational qualification, a full degree or a one-year master's programme, and each of those carries a different admission process and a different documentation set.
What we do not do is choose a programme for the sake of the visa. A course selected because it looked easy to enrol in tends to end badly, both academically and administratively.
Programmes
Programme families we coordinate
Availability, entry requirements and start dates are set by each institution. We check them for the specific programme before a student commits to anything.
- Spanish language courses at every level
- Vocational training and professional certificates
- Health and social care programmes
- Technology and computing
- Marketing and business
- Logistics and supply chain
- Master's programmes
- University degrees
- Other eligible programmes assessed on request
The file
Admission and the study visa are two decisions
The institution decides the admission. The competent authority decides the visa. Neither decision belongs to us, and a place on a course does not by itself produce a permit.
What we coordinate is the preparation: that the programme genuinely matches the student's background, that the enrolment is in place, that the documentation is complete and correctly legalised, and that the file is submitted in the right order and followed up.
- Programme selection matched to background and objective
- Enrolment and institutional documentation
- Proof of financial means as the procedure requires
- Medical insurance meeting the applicable conditions
- Legalisation and sworn translation of academic documents
- Preparation of the study visa file with an authorised professional
- Accommodation and arrival planning
- Guidance on registration steps after arrival
A country appearing on this website does not mean that a job offer, a study place or an open intake exists. Every opportunity is subject to availability, requirements, selection, admission, contract and immigration authorization.
Arlen Global Mobility coordinates the preparation and follow-up of these processes. Legal services and other regulated activities are provided by duly authorised independent professionals or providers. The granting of visas, permits and authorisations depends exclusively on the competent authorities.
Questions
Studying in Spain — questions
Can I work while I study in Spain?
Any work alongside a course depends on the conditions attached to the specific authorization held, and those conditions change. It is never something to assume when planning a budget. We tell students what their particular permit allows, confirmed with an authorised professional, and we do not present study as a route into employment.
Do I need to speak Spanish before arriving?
For a Spanish language course, no — that is the point of the course. For vocational training, a degree or a master's taught in Spanish, the institution sets a level and usually requires evidence of it. Some programmes are taught in English.
How far in advance should I start?
Earlier than most people expect. Admission calendars, document legalisation and consular appointment availability all take time, and they run in sequence rather than in parallel. For a course starting in September, work beginning in the first months of the year is realistic.
